Refund Policy

Effective date: 16 April 2026

Thank you for purchasing a product from Techo.ai. This policy explains when you may be entitled to a refund and how to request one.

1. Paddle — Merchant of Record

All purchases of Techo.ai are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the authorised reseller responsible for processing payments, collecting applicable taxes, issuing receipts, and handling refunds and chargebacks. Paddle's name will appear on your bank or card statement.

This policy is consistent with and supplements the Paddle Refund Policy. Where there is any inconsistency, the Paddle Refund Policy and Paddle Buyer Terms & Conditions will prevail.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all first-time purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date — no questions asked. To exercise this guarantee, use any of the methods described in section 4 below.

3. General Refund Terms

Outside the 30-day money-back guarantee period, and unless required by applicable law, transactions are non-refundable. Paddle may still issue refunds on a discretionary basis or where you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or refund right as described below.

Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.

If you receive a refund, your access to the relevant paid features will cease.

4. Statutory Rights by Region

Where local consumer-protection laws grant unconditional withdrawal rights, those rights apply and override this policy. The following statutory periods apply:

EU / EEA / Switzerland / United Kingdom

Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from certain digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund. This right applies to the first payment under a subscription. It does not apply to subsequent subscription payments, except: (a) if a subscription includes a free trial, you have a fresh 14-day period after the trial ends; and (b) in the UK, annual subscriptions grant a new 14-day period upon each auto-renewal. The right does not apply once digital content has started to be downloaded, streamed, or used where you gave express consent to waive the withdrawal right.

Turkey / Israel

Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from certain digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund.

South Korea / Brazil / China

Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or service contracts after delivery and receive a full refund.

Canada

Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or service contracts after delivery and receive a full refund.

Singapore

Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or services after delivery or first access and receive a full refund.

All other regions

Where no statutory withdrawal right applies, the 30-day money-back guarantee (section 2) and discretionary refund policy (section 7) apply.

5. How to Request a Refund

You can request a refund using any of the following methods:

  • Use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your purchase confirmation email from Paddle.
  • Visit paddle.net and select "Request refund".
  • Email us at support@techo.ai or call +996 500 128 992 and we will escalate your request to Paddle.

If eligible, refunds are processed using the same payment method where possible, usually within fourteen (14) days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

6. Technical or Product Defects

If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features as described:

  • Contact us first at support@techo.ai so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
  • If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Paddle's support team via paddle.net with details of the issue and any response received from us.
  • Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws.

7. Discretionary Refunds

Paddle may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date. Submission of a request within this period does not guarantee a refund. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis considering the nature of the product, reason for the request, and usage. Paddle may approve a full refund, a partial refund, or decline the request.

8. Subscriptions & Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, the Paddle receipt email, or by contacting us at support@techo.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then and no further payments will be taken.

If a transaction is not eligible for a refund, cancelling the subscription is always available to prevent future billing.

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact Paddle or us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. If a chargeback is initiated, access to the paid features may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. We recommend saving a copy for your records.

This policy is subject to the governing law and dispute-resolution provisions set out in our Terms of Use and the Paddle Buyer Terms & Conditions.
